About Us
The bird room is kept meticulously clean- Andy checks on the extra eggs progress, a fortay of Andys he hatched out 100% of last
years "extra's" , 75% of these eggs were from day one after laying. The incubators we use are Rcom 20's they are not expensive
but thats all we require as our incubation is so minimal, bottem left is the office and cctv viewing room, all the breeding
chambers have cctv cameras so we can monitor the progress of each individual pair as they develop.
Andy has been involved in Falconry for over 30 years and has been employed over the past few years as a professional
falconer, his passion for flying and caring for birds make's him a pleasure to work with. He also has a natural affinaty with birds
of prey that i find quite amazing often giving up large amounts of time and effort to help someone out with a sick or problem
bird and usually succeeds.Like me he loves Gos's, in fact this is how we first met and is as passionate about breeding them as i
am, he is only intrested in breeding naturaly and when the offspring will be a worthy asset to the falconry fraternity which
mirrors my thoughts exactly.Andy and myself have often talked about the buzz we get out of producing Gos's and i think this is
the reason why we continue in parent rearing as it can be nerve racking, risky, disapointing and unproductive and all of these
can come on the first day of breeding season, as a person once said "your still breeding in the dark age" but we like it and we
think this the only way to get 100% parent reared young.

The Set uP
The new 2,300 sq feet of aviaries at Andys are now complete and ready for the 2010 breeding season, with 14 breeding
chambers each measuring 9ft x 16ft x 9ft they are quite impressive. In early in december the cctv was installed and tested, the
bird room was finished and birds introduced, although we concentrate on parent rearing a second incubator and brooder was
added just in case of emergencies.

Our sold hawking days are run throughout the season and are aimed at the experienced and the inexperienced alike, it is
advisable to have your hawk in yarak but is not paramount. We fly pheasant, partridge and duck in season, the rabbit hawking
is second to none with grass fields and open long slips with some burrys 100 yrds from cover, or there are some great woodland
burrys if you prefere watching a hawks explosive flight through wooded areas. On a sold day we can utilise our hawking
ground to the max and can cater for rabbit days through-out the season starting in september i have about 5,000 acres in total
all within 15 minuets travelling time.I can produce Mallard on the rise [from fed ponds] on one farm and may only have bolted
rabbits on another so a bit of farm hopping may be the case depending what your requirments are.We accompany all Hawking
partys doing all the donkey work ferreting, beating or working the dogs if you require them. We only cater for small parties
with the minimum of two and the maximum of four with safety being paramount it all lends to a great day.We like the day to
start 9.00am sharp, stopping for a bite at lunchtime and finnishing when the sun sets or before if you have had enough. The
cost is £40 per head per day.
